AL-MASLAHAH (PUBLIC INTEREST) WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO AL-IMAM AL-GHAZALI
Abstract
Maslahah merupakan salah satu sumber perundangan dalam Islam. Perbincangan mengenai maslahah banyak dirujuk kepada penulisan al-Syatibl (m . 789H11388M) dalam al-Muwafaqat. Walau bagaimanapun huraian secara sistemik, ilmiah lelah pun dilakukan oleh Imam al-Ghazall (M505h.lllll m). Boleh dikatakan bahawa alGhazall adalah tokoh perintis yang mengutarakan konsep ini secara terperinci. Oleh itu artikel ini akan menghuraikan maslahah mengikut perspektif al-Ghazall sama ada dari aspek kategori, syarat, contoh dan lainnya. Huraian ini dirujuk kepada beberapa buah karya al-Ghazall seperti al-Mankhiil, Syifa ' al-Ghalll dan al-Mustafa.
