Murabahah in banking finance is characterized by being a process that involves the combination of multiple contracts and transactions, whether they are exchange contracts (muʿāwaḍāt), security contracts (tawthīqāt), or others. This occurs for various reasons, such as safeguarding the rights of the parties involved or facilitating the implementation of murabahah financing. The Central Bank of Oman has undertaken to regulate some aspects related to this matter within the regulatory and supervisory framework for Islamic banking operations, given the importance of contract combination in banking murabahah. However, the regulatory framework has not encompassed a number of operations that are combined within banking murabahah. Consequently, this study seeks to compile the key aspects of these matters based on the resolutions issued by institutions concerned with Islamic finance, such as the International Islamic Fiqh Academy and the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
