Analysis of Historical Romance and Hero Legend Novels in Military Expedition Plot Mode (历史演义与英雄传奇小说中的武举情节模式分析)

摘要
在明清两代的历史演义和英雄传奇小说中，一些情节往往会体现出某种模式化特征。这其中，以英雄人物参与武举科考的情节模式尤为引人注目。本文通过对《东汉演义传》、《两汉中兴开国演义》、《说唐全传》、《说岳全传》中武举科考情节进行考察分析，以及与历史上真实的武举情况加以比对，认为小说中的武举与现实中的武举存在着本质性的差别。小说中的武举情节重视的是英雄之间的直接比武，而并非真实武举考试中的比较武技。本文认为，古代小说中的武举情节实际上是比武夺魁情节的模式化处理，《三国演义》的“铜雀台比武”和《水浒传》的“大名府校场比武”因其情节的模式化或许可以被视为此类情节的源头。将比武夺魁的情节置于武举科考的特定背景之中，对于小说人物的塑造、小说情节结构的梳理、满足读者欣赏要求等方面，都具有独特的作用。
