There is no fee for submitting articles, and no article processing charges (APC) if the article is accepted for publication.
JUMMEC follows the Uniform Guidelines for Biomedical Journals Requirements of the ICJME for determining authorship (http://www.icjme.org). The ICJME recommends that the authorship be based on the following 4 criteria:
1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work: AND
2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content; AND
3. Final approval of the revision to be published; AND
4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
The Journal of Health and Translational Medicine (JUMMEC) is dedicated to following COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors, AERA Code of Ethics, World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) Policy Statement on Geopolitical Intrusion and APA Publication Ethics on ethical matters, errors and retractions. BioMed Central also endorses the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. Any kind of unethical behavior is not acceptable, and the Editorial Board of this journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. Authors submitting articles to the Journal affirm that manuscript contents are original, has not previously been published elsewhere, and that the manuscript is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
